Lab Centrifugal Concentrator

Capacity: 0.01 t/h
Feed particle size: 0-2mm
Application: Lab centrifugal concentrator is mainly used for laboratory tests and optimization of mineral processing, such as separation and enrichment of small-scale fine-grained minerals (gold, tungsten, tin, tantalum, niobium, etc.). It can also be used for the recovery of valuable metals from electronic waste and tailings in the environmental protection and resource recovery industries.

Description

The lab centrifugal concentrator is a device that uses the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation to enhance gravity separation. By adjusting parameters such as speed and inclination, it accurately simulates the industrial centrifugal concentrator process and processes fine particles that are difficult to separate by traditional gravity methods, such as tin, tungsten, gold and other minerals of -0.1mm. It can recover fine gold and platinum group elements from tailings or low-grade ores; pre-enrichment of tantalum-niobium ores and rare earth ores, etc. The laboratory centrifugal concentrator can quickly evaluate the selectivity of ore and provide a basis for process parameters for industrial centrifugal concentrators (such as Knelson and Falcon). It is an important scientific research tool in the field of mineral processing experiments and gravity separation technology research.

Lab Centrifugal Concentrator

Advantages

The centrifugal force can reach hundreds of times the gravity, significantly improving the recovery rate of fine-particle minerals.

Laboratory-level miniaturized design, low power consumption, and easy maintenance.

Only a small amount of sample is needed to quickly verify the feasibility and reduce experimental costs.

No chemical agents are required, environmental protection and energy saving mineral processing.

Principle

The lab centrifugal concentrator is driven by a motor through a belt drive to rotate the shaft, making the inner sleeve rotate at a high speed. The ore slurry is fed into the inner sleeve through the feed pipe. Under the action of centrifugal force, the sorting process is strengthened. The heavy minerals stay in the inner sleeve. After the machine stops, the concentrate is discharged from the ore discharge port.
